Blackjack Ridge Trail #1565

This trail leads into Alpine Lakes Wilderness. It has ridgetop views and numerous steep switchbacks through forest and open meadows. The trail is difficult to follow in places. Horse feed available. It is 8.0 miles long, with an elevation gain of 3800 feet, and is open to hikers and stock users. The trail begins at the Blackpine Trailhead, and ends at the Snowall-Cradle Lake Trail #1560.  This trail is rated a strenuous hike.

The trail begins at the Blackpine Trailhead located 19 miles up Icicle Creek Road #7600 and ends at the Snowall-Cradle Lake Trail #1560.
