Little Giant Trail #1518

  

This steep trail within Glacier Peak Wilderness follows portions of an old sheep driveway. The trail is very eroded and narrow on the Napeequa River side of pass.

Alert! There are no bridges across the Chiwawa River and the Napeequa Rivers. Crossings may be hazardous during high water. This trail is hazardous for stock use.

General Information

Directions:

The trail begins at the Little Giant Trailhead. The trail ends at the Napeequa River at the junction with the Boulder Creek Trail #1562.  From Leavenworth, WA take US-2 north for 15 miles then go right on WA-207 and follow for 4.4 miles and go right on Chiwawa Loop Road and go .4 miles then stay right at the intersection. Take the second left onto Chiwawa River Road (Forest Road 62) and follow for about 19 miles to the trailhead (road becomes rough gravel and dirt at 11 mile point).
