Poe Mountain Trail #1520

This steep, dry trail leads to a high ridgetop with an old fire lookout site within Glacier Peak Wilderness.  It switchbacks continually, gaining nearly 1000 vertical feet per mile.  It affords great views deep into the wilderness and is especially colorful in fall.
