Top Lake Trail #1506


This 5.3 mile trail accesses the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 within Henry M. Jackson Wilderness. It has moderate to steep grades. From the trailhead it climbs along high subalpine ridge country across the flank of Fall Mountain. The last .25 mile is a very steep, eroded descent to Top Lake, set in pretty meadow country.

General Information

Directions:

The trail begins at the Top Lake Trailhead.  From Leavenworth, WA travel north on US-2 for 15 miles then take WA-207 N and follow for 10.5 miles past Wenatchee Lake. Then take a slight left on Wenatchee River Road (Forest Road 6500) and follow for 6 miles. Then stay left on Forest Road 6701 (Theseus Creek Road) and follow for .4 miles and then stay right on Forest Road 6701 and travel about 5.5 miles and go left on Forest Road #6701-500 and follow for about 1.5 miles to the trailhead.
