Shoestring Lake Trail #1385

The Shoestring Lake Trail begins at Forest Road 3100 and ends at Shoestring Jeep Trail #4W308.

At 0.25 mile from the trailhead, 1385 reaches a junction with South Manastash Trail 1386.1, which is 2.2 miles long and heads east to link up with Keenan Meadows Trail 1386 near Manastash Campground. Trail 1385 continues through a clearcut (1960) and goes along South Fork Manastash and continues to climb
to trail’s end at Shoestring 4x4 Trail 4W308.

Operational Hours:	June - October Seasonal motorized closure in effect yearly snowfall through June 15. If conditions permit, this trail may be opened to motorized use prior to June 15 and will be posted open at that time both on the ground and on this site.

Directions:

From I-90 Exit 101 west of Ellensburg, travel south and southeast on Thorp Highway for two miles, take a right on Cove Road and continue 4 miles to Manastash Road. Turn right and follow Manastash Road which becomes Forest Road 31 approximately 19 miles to a "T" intersection and continue on FS 31 (left) and continue about 1.5 miles to the Shoestring trailhead on the right.

Parking:

There is a developed trailhead with toilet, and parking for 10+ vehicles.
