Old Gib Trail #1528

This old trail along the ridge has not been maintained for at least 40 years. Tread is thin or non-existent for long stretches. A lot of downed trees across trail make travel difficult. It connects the Carne Mountain Trail #1508 with the Estes Butte Trail #1527.  Water is scarce. This trail is not recommended for horses.

General Information


This trail has no trailhead.  The trail begins 2-1/2 miles up the Estes Butte Trail #1527 and ends at a junction with the Carne Mountain Trail #1508.
