North Fork Tieton Trail #1118

  

This trail is within Goat Rocks Wilderness. The last 2 miles of this trail are steep. The trail accesses the Pacific Crest Trail and Hidden Springs Trail #1117.

  • Camping prohibited within 100 feet of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail and within 100 feet of lakes.
  • Shoe Lake basin and Snow Grass Flats are closed to camping and campfires; camping is available at Hidden Springs (about 1 mile west of Shoe Lake).
  • The Yakima Indian Reservation, bordering the Goat Rocks Wilderness on the southeast side, is closed to the general public except for the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail route

General Information

Directions:

Access from U.S. Highway12 to Tieton Road 1200 using the west entrance.  Drive around Clear Lake to forest road 1207.  Drive to end of 1207 and Scatter Creek Trailhead.


General Notes:

Four camp sites, outhouse, horse ramp, non-potable water source.
