Hatchery Creek Trail #1577


This trail is within Alpine Lakes Wilderness.  It climbs continuously and steeply for 6.5 miles to the junction with Icicle Ridge Trail # 1570.  At 3 miles it meets The Badlands Trail #1576 at a junction.  Horse feed is available in the upper portions of Fall Creek.  This is the primary access for Lake Augusta (2 miles west on the Icicle Ridge Trail) as well as other fine subalpine country.

General Information


The trail begins at the Hatchery Creek Trailhead located 2 miles up Hatchery Creek Road #7905.  From Leavenworth, WA head southwest on Highway 2 for about 9 miles. Then take a left on Hatchery Creek Road (Forest Road 7905) and follow for 2 miles to the trailhead.
