The Ira Spring Wetland Trail splits left from Bogachiel Rain Forest Trail #825 just beyond the trailhead and connects back with the Bogachiel River Trail at Kahkwa Creek about 0.2 miles before the Olympic National Park boundary. The Ira Spring Wetland Trail meanders for just over a mile through the rain forest overlooking the wetland before linking back to the main trail at either side.

The trail begins at Trail #825 at Morgenroth Creek and ends at Trail #825 at Kakwha Creek.
