Marmot Pass, looking into the Dungeness valley.

This 5.3 mile trail travels along the Big Quilcene River through old growth forest and climbs to alpine meadows in Buckhorn Wilderness. Views of the Olympics at Marmot Pass. Please avoid camping on sensitive alpine meadows at Marmot Pass. Use existing campsites and camp on durable surfaces in order to avoid damaging sensitive vegetation. Fires are not permitted above 3,500 feet of elevation, which includes Camp Mystery and Marmot Pass.

Maximum grades of 30%.

This trail connects to Upper Dungeness Trail #833 and Tubal Cain Trail #840.  Please pack out what you pack in.
