Murhut Falls Trail #828

This 0.8 mile trail goes through second growth to old growth forest around Murhut Falls. In the spring rhododendrons flower along the short trail.
This trail is maintained only during the summer months. The trail is a moderate grade but stay on the trail, as hazards exist off the trail. View the falls from the top of the bank at the falls. Peek-a-boo views of Mt. Jupiter and Jupiter Ridge. Good place for camera shots of the high, picturesque Murhut Falls.

General Information
Directions:From Quilcene, WA travel US Highway 101 south for approximately 16 miles. Turn West (right), towards Duckabush Recreation Area, onto Duckabush Road. Follow Duckabush Road/Forest Service Road #2510 for 6.2 miles to Forest Service Road #2530, turn right and travel 1.3 miles to the trailhead.
