General Information

Directions: From Jerusalem take Forest Service Road 1305 (gravel) north for 5 miles. Turn right (east) on Forest Service Road 1309 (gravel) and go 0.1 mile then turn left on Forest Service Road 1331 (gravel) and go 1 mile.

Activities

Campground Camping

Brock Creek Recreation Area is located near the 35-acre Brock Creek Lake. Primitive campground: pack-it-in, pack-it-out trash. Vault Toilet. Six campsites (with picnic tables, fire rings, and lantern posts)

Fire Information Campfires are allowed (unless in the event of a burn ban), no firewood should be brought in or taken from any of the sites.

Lake and Pond Fishing

Both the upper and lower lakes (approximately ten acres each) are stocked periodically with bass, channel catfish and bluegill. Primitive boat ramps

Viewing Wildlife

The Bayou Ranger District is located within the heart of the Ozarks. Visitors can view picturesque rock bluffs, swim in crystal clear streams, and hike wooded hillsides. The trails meander through majestic oak/hickory forests and occasional areas of pine. These areas also contain several small streams that traverse through the trail system, adding to the beauty of the area.

The Jeep Trail is a double-track trail designed for Off-Highway Vehicle riders, dirt bikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders and hikers.
