Horsehead Lake Recreation Area
Horsehead Lake offers several amenities to its visitors. Managed cooperatively by the US Forest Service and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, it provides a developed camping area, restroom facilities with showers, a playground, and picnic area, most of which are fully accessible. There is primitive camping and a boat launch across the lake from the developed campground, offered by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. There is a 'no wake' limitation on the lake so visitors are encouraged to operate smaller motors or trolling motors while enjoying their day of boating and fishing.
