Snake Lake Campground and Equestrian Camp
Snake Lake is located in the Meadow Valley area off of Bucks Lake Road and boasts shady lakeside campsites for tents, RVs, OHVs and horses. It is one of the few campgrounds on the Mt. Hough Ranger District that allows OHV trail access directly from the campground.
This multi-use campsite has 17 sites; 8 of them with corrals for equestrian campers. There are no hookups. Horses are allowed overnight in equestrian campsites only, and corrals are also available.
Activities include fishing, hiking, horseback riding, OHV use and non-motorized boating. Snake Lake is not recommended for swimming.

17 campsites are in the multi-use campground for all campers; 8 sites have corrals for equestrian campers. Horses allowed overnight in equestrian campsites only. Watering horses at lake edge is prohibited for safety reasons. Water may be bucketed for horses at the spillway. Remove or scatter manure from the corrals and campsites. Please use "weed-seed-free-feed or pellets for horses.
