This campground has 38 sites, 12 are reservable. Sites include lake side sites, shaded sites and open unshaded sites.

At a Glance

Current Conditions: Timber operations are complete in this area and the campground is open. During the off season, the campground has no services and no fees. Visitors should bring water and must pack out all trash. The boat ramp is open. However, the loading dock is not available. Boaters are cautioned for icy conditions on the lake. Wind blown ice may unexpectedly block access to unfrozen areas of the lake.   
Operational Hours: All campgrounds in the Frenchman Lake Recreation Area are under temporary closure until December 31, 2018 for hazardous tree and woody fuels removal. This campground remains open during the winter months.
Reservations: Sites can be reserved online at www.Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. The campground has about half reservation and half first come first served sites.

From Reno NV. take Highway 395 North to Hallelujah Junction, Head West on Highway 70 to Chilcoot, head North on Highway 284 to Frenchman Lake. Cross the  dam and proceed to the campground entrance on the left.
