Mingus Mountain Picnic Site

  

Site resumes normal operation and fee schedule on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Please read the news release dated 7/28/20 for important information. Water is available at this site.

 

Located in the cool pines atop Mingus Mountain, this picnic area offers a spectacular view of the Verde Valley, the red rocks of Sedona, Humphrey’s Peak in Flagstaff, and the Mogollon Rim.

General Information

Directions:

Off of Hwy 89A (between Prescott Valley and Jerome), turn on Forest Road 104 (at the Summit Picnic Site). Follow dirt road approximately 2.5 miles to 4-way stop. This site is reached either by going straight through the 4-way stop and into the parking lot, or by a road on the left shortly before the stop sign.
