Lynx Creek Gold Pan Day Use Area

  

This day use area is primarily used for recreational gold panning.  Follow these links to find a map of the Lynx Creek Mineral Withdrawal Area and regulations governing its use.

Note: This site closes following especially heavy rain or snow, and when the roads are too icy.  If you plan to visit and want to make sure it is open, please contact the Bradshaw Ranger Station: 928-443-8000.  When the office is closed, please check the right-hand column under "Alerts and Warnings" to see if there are weather-related closures, and follow the link to see if this site is closed or on a reduced schedule.

General Information

Directions:

From Prescott, AZ: East on Hwy 69, pass shopping mall on right, go right (south) on Walker Rd. (by Costco). South on Walker Rd for approximately 1.5 miles. The turn off for Gold Pan (and Lynx Creek Ruins) is on the left side of Walker Rd.
