Red Rocks Group Campground

Area Status: Closed

This rustic group site is located in a ponderosa pine forest approximately 1/2 mile off Highway 67 north of Woodland Park. Hiking is the main attraction. The Red Rocks Trail #612 leads to nearby unusual and scenic red sandstone formation.

Fees: $190 per night/day, for up to 100 people. This campground was developed for group camping, but may be reserved for day use at the overnight use rate.  
Open Season: Late May - Mid September
Restrictions:
  • Must occupy the site within 24 hours of reservation.
  • Dogs must be leashed at all times.
  • No discharge of firearms or fireworks.
  • Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground.
  • Camping is not allowed behind a locked gate.

Directions:

From Colorado Springs, west on Highway 24 approximately 25 miles; 5 miles north of Woodland Park on Colorado Highway 67. Located 4 miles north of Woodland Park on CO Highway 67 at the 8,200' elevation, this area is accessible by all types of vehicles.
