General Information
Directions:From Poncha Springs, Colorado, travel west on Highway 50 for approximately 8 miles to Forest Road 225. Watch for a sign on the left indicated National Forest access to Fooses Creek. Stay on FR 225 for .75 miles to the reservoir.

The Colorado Trail (#1776) is located 2 miles west of Fooses reservoir. The trail travels southwest for approximately 6 miles to the Continental Divide and the Monarch Crest trail.
