O'Haver Lake Campground
O'Haver Lake Campground sits at an elevation of 9,200 feet, with ponderosa pines and aspen. Campsites are located along the shore of the lake, which is about 15 acres in size. Prior to Memorial Day weekend, and after Labor Day, camphosts and water may not be available.

Reservations: | During peak season dates, some sites can be reserved by visiting www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777 up to 6 months or at least 4 days in advance. (Friday and Saturday 2-night minimum required stay for weekend reservations. Three-night minimum for holiday weekend reservations). |
Fees: | $25 per site for overnight camping. Two vehicles or one RV per site is included in the camping fee. $10.00 for a third vehicle. $10.00 fee for day use if not camping overnight. Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. Self-servicing fee tube is available. Sites must be occupied the first night of payment. Interagency Senior/Access passes valid for 50% discount to the camping fee for one site. |

General Information
Directions:From Salida, Colorado, travel west on Highway 50 to Poncha Springs. Turn south on Hwy 285 for 5 miles. Turn right and go west on County Road 200 for 2.3 miles. Go west on County Road 202 for 2.5 miles.
Accessibility:
This site is not universally accessible. An accessible fishing pier is located along the southwest side of the lake.
Parking:
ATV/OHV parking is available at the entrance to the campground.
Activities
Mountain Biking
The historic Denver and Rio Grande railroad grade traveled from Salida, southwest to the summit of Marshall Pass. The grade travels along County Road 200 above O'Haver Lake. This is a very popular mountain biking route with cyclists traveling from Monarch Pass to Marshall Pass on the Crest trail and then traveling down the railroad grade into Poncha Springs.
Silver Creek, Starvation Creek, Poncha Creek and the Rainbow Trail are also nearby mountain biking trails. For detailed information or maps, call the Salida Ranger District at 719-539-3591 or stop by our office at 5575 Cleora Road just east of Salida off of Hwy 50.

Campground Camping
Lake and Pond Fishing
O'Haver Lake is a popular fishing lake and it draws thousands of people to it's shores every summer. The lake is regularly stocked with Rainbow trout. For anglers wishing to spend the day fishing, a parking area is provided in the center of the campground.
