Cordova Pass Picnic Area and Campground
Cordova Pass Picnic Area and Campground offers picnicking and tent camping only. Access to Levy-Krier Trail (#1392), West Peak Trail (#1390) and Salazar Trail (#1392a) trails.
All dates are weather dependent. All services may not be available early or late in the season.

| Reservations: | No sites are reservable. This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. |
| Fees: | Two vehicles are included in the $15 camping fee, charged during summer months. A separate $10 day-use fee is charged for users not registered in the campground. Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. Self-servicing fee tube is available. First-come, first-served sites must be occupied the first night. Senior and Access cardholders: 50% discount off the camping or day-use fees. |

General Information
Directions:From La Veta, travel south on State Highway 12 for 17 miles to the top of Cucharas Pass. Turn left (east) onto County Road 46 and travel 6 miles to the campground and picnic area at the summit of Cordova Pass. May also be accessed from the east approach to Cordova Pass on County Road 46.
General Notes:
Weather in the summer is generally mild with warm days and cool nights; highs in the 80s and lows in the 40s. Afternoon thunderstorms are a common occurrence. Spring and fall weather is usually dry and sunny with highs in the 60s and lows in the 30s.
