Lake Isabel Cabin

A quaint historical Forest Ranger cabin adjacent to the Lake Isabel Recreation Area. A day-use fee is charged at the recreation area which provides a stocked fishing lake, hiking and motorized trails, picnic areas and campgrounds. Boats without motors are permitted on the lake. Cross country skiing and tubing are popular activities in the winter. A restaurant and private cabins are nearby. The Frontier Pathway Scenic Byway passes by.

One bedroom cabin, has electricity and indoor plumbing, 3 sets of bunk beds, electric stove, refrigerator, washer & dryer, fireplace, parking for 4 vehicles, group firepit, picnic tables, horseshoe pits.

Directions:

 From I-25 Exit take Exit 74, go west on State Highway 165 16 miles to Lake Isabel.  The cabin entrance is adjacent to Highway 165 east of Lake Isabel.
