South Apache Trail #1311


South Apache Trail is 4.3 miles long and is considered hard. The trail starts at 7,300 feet and gains 2,300 feet to reach 9,600 feet. This trail is accessed via Bartlett Trail  #1310 and is within Greenhorn Mountains Wilderness.

ALERT! The South Apache Trail ends at private land with no access in or out from that point. So plan on hiking out the way you came in.

General Information


The South Apache Trail # 1311 can be accessed from the Bartlett Trail, which is located off State Highway 165 and Ophir Creek road/Forest Service Road 360). Head Southwest on Fores Service Road (FSR) 360 for about 12 miles then left on Greenhorn FSR 369 for about 17 miles, the trailhead is at  the end of the road.
