Abe Lee Fishing Site
Abe Lee Fishing Site is located on the south shore of Turquoise Lake, 6 miles west of Leadville. Good fishing plus a many other recreational opportunities are available at this popular lake.
The standard limit of fish allowed from Turquoise Lake is 4 fish total; 2 lake trout within the 4 fish limit with no size restrictions. Turquoise Lake is stocked with rainbow, brown, cutthroat, and brook trout. Turquoise Lake is rated as fair to good fishing.

Parking:Free parking is available at the Abe Lee Fishing Site until 10:00 PM
Directions:
From Harrison Street in Leadville, turn onto West Sixth Street to County Road 4. Make a right onto County Road 4 at the T and drive to County Road 9 to the Sugarloaf Dam Site. From the Dam, drive approximately 1 mile and turn left onto the road to Abe Lee Fishing Site.
