Meadow Ridge Campground


Meadow Ridge Campground has 19 campsites with parking areas at least 30' long at 9200' elevation. Sites 12 and 13 have been developed for handicapped accessibility. The camping season begins in early May and continues into September. Facilities include tables, fire grates, two disabled accessible vault toilets, and trash collection. 

This is a standard, non-electric campground.

Reservations: Phone 877-444-6777 or visit at least 4 days in advance. Friday and Saturday night minimum required stay on weekends. 3 nights minimum on holiday weekends. Walk-ups are exempt from the nightly minimum.
$23.00 fee per site for overnight camping. Two (2) vehicles or one (1) RV per site is included in the camping fee. $6.00 for a third vehicle. 
$7.00 fee for day use if not camping overnight.
Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. Self-servicing fee tube is available.
First-come, first-served sites must be occupied the SAME NIGHT.
Golden Age and Golden Access Cardholder: 50% discount off the camping fee only.

Restrictions: The following restrictions apply to this campground:
  • Dogs must be leashed at all times.
  • Horses are not permitted on trails.
  • No discharge of firearms or fireworks.
  • Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground.
  • Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE.

The Interagency Senior Pass (previously known as the Golden Age Pass) and the Interagency Access Pass qualifies for a 50% discount at concessionaire run campsites. The discount only applies to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass owner's party.

Information Center:
  • Firewood is for sale at the campground.
  • Because of its location in bear country, all food, coolers and toiletries must be stored inside an enclosed vehicle at all times to prevent bear conflicts.
  • Limited site reservations can be made in advance 240 days prior to arrival. There is a reservation fee. 

General Information


From Colorado Springs, Colorado, travel west on Hwy 24 for about 24 miles to Woodland Park. Turn north on Baldwin (which turns into Rampart Range Road). Go about 2 miles to Loy Creek Road turn right and then to FDR 300 turn right (Rampart Range Road). Follow signs. Rampart Reservoir entrance is about 4 miles further on the left side of the road.


Sites 12 and 13 have been developed for handicapped accessibility as well as two accessible vault toilets.
