Lake Creek Campground
Lake Creek is a small, 11 site campground shaded with abundant trees. Some sites are streamside. Close access to Wilderness and non-Wilderness trails in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
All dates are weather dependent. Dates of operation below are dates visitors may expect full service. The area also has an extended season when services such as water, trash or a host may not be available between May 7, 2021 and October 11, 2021.

Fee campground.Two vehicles included in the camping fee. Additional fee for extra vehicles. Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. Self-servicing fee tube is available for camping or day-use. All sites are first-come, first-served and must be occupied the FIRST NIGHT. Senior, Access (handicap), Golden Age and Golden Access Cardholders: 50% discount off camping or day-use fees

The Interagency Senior Pass (previously known as the Golden Age Pass) and the Interagency Access Pass qualifies for a 50% discount at concessionaire run campsites. The discount only applies to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass owner's party.

From downtown Westcliffe, CO; travel 11 miles north on State Highway 69 to County Road 198 then 3 miles west to the campground
11 campsites for tents or small RV's. Water from a handpump, accessible toilets and trash receptacles are located in the campground. Each campsite has a firegrate/grill and a picnic table. Firewood is available for sale at the site.
