Blue Mountain Campground


Area Status: Closed

Blue Mountain Campground is located 1.5 miles S of Lake George off CR96 and CR61.  It has 21 campsites with parking spurs 16-40 feet and a maximum trailer length of 25 feet; elevation is 8,200 feet; camping season begins in May and continues to early October with reduced service.  The camping fee is $17.00.  Facilities include toilets, water, tables, and fire rings.  There is no trash at this campground.  

The Blue Mountain Campground will open May 21, 2021.

General Information

Directions:

From Lake George turn off of Highway 24 onto County Road 96.  Follow the road for about 1 mile toward Elevenmile Canyon and take a right at the fork onto County Road 61.  The campground is just up the way on the right. 


Accessibility:

The area is generally is accessible year round; however the campground only operates during the summer months.


Parking:

Parking is available and each campsite which can accommodate up to two vehicles.
