Lodgepole Campground
Lodgepole Campground is located four miles north of Jefferson off County Road 35 and County Road 37. It has 34 campsites with parking spurs 20-40 feet and a maximum trailer length of 30 feet. The elevation is 9,900 feet. Camping season begins in May and continues to early October with reduced service. Facilities include toilets, tables, water, trash, and fire rings.

General Information
Directions:From US Highway 285 at Jefferson, take County Road 35 north to County Road 37 and turn right. Pay the user fee at Jefferson Lake Recreation Area entrance station and continue on the road to the campground.
General Notes:
Lodgepole Campgound is part of the Recreation.gov reservation system. There is a two night minimum stay on weekends and a three night minimum stay holidays. Reservations can be made by calling 1-877-444-6777 or by logging on to www.recreation.gov.
Accessibility:
It is difficult to access Jefferson Lake Recreation Area during the winter months. The roads to this site are not maintained for snow throughut the winter.
Parking:
Parking is available at each campsite which can accommodate up to two vehicles.
