Selkirk Campground

Selkirk Campground is located eight miles north of Como off County Road 50 and County Road 33. It has 15 campsites with a maximum trailer length of 25 feet. Facilities include toilets, tables, water and fire rings but no trash services. The elevation is 10,500 feet.

Reservations: First come, first served.
Fees: $20.00 fee per site for overnight camping. Two vehicles or one RV per site is included in the camping fee. $10.00 for a third vehicle. $10.00 fee for day use if not camping overnight. Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. Self-service fee tube is available. First-come, first-served sites must be occupied the same night.
  •  Campfires are restricted to fire rings only. Be sure campfire is completely extinguished before leaving.
  •  Maximum of eight people per site.
  •  Facility roads are not paved.
  •  No more than a 14-night consecutive stay.
  •  Dogs must always be leashed.
  •  No discharge of firearms or fireworks.
  •  Quiet hours from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

General Information


From Fairplay, Colorado, travel north on US 285 to the town of Como. Turn left onto County Road 33 and follow the road until you reach County Road 50. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 33 and follow the road for about four miles, then turn left onto Road 33.3A and travel 3/4 of a mile to the campground.


Parking is available at each campsite, which can accommodate up to two vehicles.
