Turkey Trail

This 10.5-mile-long trail extends between Cottonwood Picnic Area and one mile east of County Road 16. The part of the trail open for motorized vehicles is shown on the Cimarron NG's Motor Vehicle Use Map. This wooded trail has great birdwatching and wildlife viewing opportunities.

Restroom: Vaults at Cottonwood Springs and Cimarron Recreation Area.

General Information

Directions: Trail begins at the far east end of the Cottonwood Picnic Grounds and is located south of the Cimarron River just east of Highway 27.
