Painted Rocks Campground
This rustic campground is located approximately seven miles north of Woodland Park at 7,800 ft. elevation and has 18 campsites with parking areas up to 30 ft. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There is drinking water available in the campground, as well as trash dumpsters and vault toilets. While most sites have ponderosa pine shade, some are in full sun. This campground is a standard, non-electric site.

General Information
Directions:From Colorado Springs, Colorado, travel west on Highway 24 for approximately 18 miles to Woodland Park, turn north onto State Highway 67 and travel 7 miles to Painted Rocks Road on the left side of highway. Take the gravel road approximately 1/2 mile to the campground entrance on the left side of road.
Parking:
This campground has a narrow road and campsite spurs and is not recommended for large motorhomes or large trailers. Regardless of the length of the parking spur, there may be only one recreational vehicle per single camp site. Recreational vehicles are trailers and Class A, B, & C motor homes. There is a maximum of two vehicles (cars/suvs/trucks) per site, an additional fee will be collected on-site for extra vehicles. Sites 8, 11, 12, & 13 are tent only sites.

Reservations must be made at least four days in advance. This campground requires a two night minimum stay on weekends and a three night minimum stay on holiday weekends.
