The Major Creek Trail is 7.0 miles long. It begins at Forest Road 964 and ends at Forest Boundary. There is fishing available along the creek--attractions are 6-8" Brookies and Cutthroat Trout in the lower section of the creek. Brush Creek Lakes can be reached by crossing the divide.
The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking, Horseback Riding, Fishing, Hunting, and Viewing Scenery

Take Valley View Road (CR GG) east from the junction of Hwys 17 and 285, go approximately 8.5 miles. Road will curve to the right (CR 66FF). Major Creek Canyon is directly east. Also accessible via Crossover Trail (San Isabel NF).
