McKee Bridge Picnic Site

This historic picnic shelter was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s and is located adjacent to the historic McKee Covered Bridge. This day use area provides access to the Applegate River where people enjoy fishing, wading, and swimming. Much of the day use area is flat and easily accessed, except for the steps down to the river.

Please note: In an effort to make this site family-friendly, this has been an alcohol-free site since 2009.
