Located east of Medford, Oregon, Whiskey Springs Campground is quiet and secluded. This remote and picturesque campground is a short distance from Willow Lake and Fish Lake, and nearby to Fourbit Ford Campground. Numerous hiking trails are within easy access, including the Mt. McLaughlin Trail #3716.

This small campground contains a variety of campsites to accommodate all types of visitors and campers, including group, family and single campsites.

Reservations: 65%-70% of the sites at Whiskey Springs Campground are now available for reservation through www.recreation.gov, with the remaining sites designated as “First come, first served.” This site is managed through our concessionaires at Rogue Recreation.

  • Quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
  • Campfires in developed fire pits only
  • Fireworks are prohibited

General Information

Directions:

From Medford, OR, travel north approximately 16 miles on Highway 62 going through Eagle Point to the Butte Falls / Willow Lake turnoff.  Turn east (right) and travel 16 miles to the town of Butte Falls, OR.  Continue through Butte Falls on County Road 821 for 9.1 miles to Forest Road 3065.  Turn north (left) and travel 0.3 mile on Forest Road 3065 to the campground entrance to the north (left).


Parking:
  • Recommended Maximum vehicle length: 30 feet
  • All campsite parking areas are graveled and range from 25 to 80 feet in length.
  • All campground access roads are chip sealed and narrow passage for longer vehicles.
  • There are 5 pull-through sites available.
