Muir Creek

Muir CreekMuir Creek is a mid-sized stream and a major tributary to the upper Wild and Scenic Rogue River. A maintained hiking trail follows Muir Creek for about 4 miles and provides some fishing access. Scenery abounds in Muir Creek with wildflower-studded meadows, old-growth forests, and abundant wildlife. The fish are generally small wild trout, although occasionally anglers will hook up with a larger fish or two. This stream is a favorite with flyfishers, as it is generally easy to wade.
