Grassy Knob Trail #1241
From the trailhead, follow an old forest road up hill for approximately 0.5 mile and then turn right for the short hike to the summit of Grassy Knob. There is an abandoned lookout site, used in 1942 to spot planes, which provides a scenic view of the surrounding Grassy Knob Wilderness and the Pacific Ocean. The old forest road/trail continues along the ridge approximately 0.75 mile.
