This short trail passes through Hummingbird Meadow in Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness where in early June the wildflowers reach their prime and hundreds of hummingbirds may be found feeding on red horsemint. It ties into Buck Canyon Trail #1046 0.4 mile from the trailhead.
