Twin Ponds Trail #993
The Twin Ponds Trail is within Sky Lakes Wilderness and travels along a portion of the Rancheria Trail, an historic military wage road developed in the early 1860s to supply the newly constructed Fort Klamath. The road was used into the first decade of this century.
There is a seasonal spring near the trailhead. There is also water along Fourbit Creek.
