This area is Closed

22 miles north of Pecos on NM 63.  Uses:  Camping, picnicking, and trailhead access.  Facilities:  Tent camping only, Vaulted toilet, Trash bins, Tables and grills, 3 three-sided shelters, 19 parking spaces.  Fishing in Cave Creek.  Special Instructions:  NO HORSE TRAILERS ALLOWED.

Fees $5.00 per vehicle per night.  $5.00 picnic area per day.

Restrictions: No horses or horse trailers allowed.  No ATVs allowed.  Quiet hours from 10pm to 7am.
Water: Potable water is no longer available, the water system has been winterized for the season.

Information Center: Please keep your dogs on a leash for their own safety, to be courteous to other users, to respect & protect wildlife, and to protect vegetation. In a Developed Recreation Area it is prohibited to bring in or possess an animal, other than a service animal, unless it is crated, caged, or upon a leach not longer than six feet, or otherwise under physical restrictive control. (36 CFR 261.16 (j))
