This area is Open

22 miles north of Pecos on NM 63.  Uses:  Camping, picnicking, and trailhead access.  Facilities:  Tent camping only, Vaulted toilet, Trash bins, Tables and grills, 3 three-sided shelters, 19 parking spaces, Drinking Water.  Fishing in Cave Creek.  Special Instructions:  NO HORSE TRAILERS ALLOWED.

Fees $5.00 per vehicle per night.  $5.00 picnic area per day.
Permit Info: A backcountry permit is not required to enter the Pecos Wilderness.

In a Developed Recreation Area it is prohibited to bring in or possess an animal, other than a service animal, unless it is crated, caged, or upon a leach not longer than six feet, or otherwise under physical restrictive control. (36 CFR 261.16 (j))
