Big Eddy Boat Take-out

Open year round, Big Eddy is located off of FR 151 along the Rio Chama and north of Abiquiu Lake.  This site is the float boating take out for Rio Chama Wild and Scenic river.  It is also a fishing access fro the RIO chama.  A New Mexico Fishing license is required.  For license information see the NM Department of Game and Fish page.  Uses:  Non-motorized river boating take-out and parking area. Fishing access.  Facilities:  Vault toilets & trash receptacles. No human waste receptacle provided for river users. Special Instructions: No overnight camping.  Day-use only.
