Keller Peak Fire Lookout

The Keller Peak Fire Lookout stands tall on Keller Peak in the San Bernardino National Forest.

Picture of Keller Peak Fire Lookout viewed from below. Keller Peak Fire Lookout is usually open to the public 9am - 5pm daily from Memorial Day to mid-November. Located east of Running Springs on Forest Road 1N96, this 5-mile road is paved all the way to the fire lookout.

Once you have reached the top of the tower, there are excellent views of the San Bernardino Mountains including three lakes: Arrowhead, Gregory, and Silverwood. On a clear afternoon day views of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Catalina Island are possible.

General Information

Directions:

On SR-18 travel east of the Running Springs Village and immediately after Deerlick Fire Station turn right on Keller Peak Road (1N96). This 5 mile paved road is paved all the way to the lookout. At a fork in the road, turn right and drive to the lookout.
