Lake Fulmor Day Use Area

This photograph shows Lake Fulmor and its fishing pier located on the San Jacinto Ranger District

Lake Fulmor is a delightful oasis for people and wildlife. On the trail winding around the lake look for ground squirrels, tree frogs, butterflies, and dragonflies; listen for the raucous chatter of Steller’s jays. Fully accessible pier, picnic tables and toilet.

Fishing information: Rainbow trout planted fall through spring.  Call California Fish and Wildlife for Fish Plant recording at 855-887-1275.

At a Glance

Current Conditions: Lake Fulmor is only accessible from Idyllwild due to road closure.  Cal Trans is doing emergency culvert repairs 24 hrs, from December 7th to December 14th.  Not accessible from Banning, must use Hwy 74 to Hwy 243. 
Operational Hours: 6 am to 10 pm.  No overnight camping.
Fees Pass must be aquired before arriving at parking lot.  Adventure Pass Required $5/day or $30/year. Interagency Passes also accepted. For more information, please visit our recreation pass page.
