Jenks Lake Day Use Area

Jenks Lake Pier in the fall

Jenks Lake picnic area is for day use only, at an elevation of 6,800 feet.

AccessibleThis lake provides accessible picnicking and fishing from either the pier or from several fishing pads along the shore. An accessible trail also borders the lake, which starts from the parking lot.

California Department of Fish and Wildlife may plant rainbow trout in the spring and summer: fish planting schedule

Hand launch small boats, no power boats.

No camping. However the nearest campgrounds are:
Barton FlatsSan Gorgonio and South Fork Campgrounds.
Jenks Lake East Road also leads to a designated dispersed camping area, East Flats.
