Grout Bay Picnic Area is located on the scenic north shore of Big Bear Lake.  The Grays Peak trailhead is across the highway from the picnic area.  The picnic area is closed during eagle season; December 1st thru March 31st.  This site is accessible.

Current Conditions: Grays Peak Trailhead, the lower section of the Grays Peak Trail and Grout Bay Picnic Area are closed by Forest Order from December 1, 2019 to July 31, 2020 to protect bald eagle habitat during nesting season.
