Forested land surrounding Grout Bay at Big Bear Lake, CA

Grout Bay Picnic Area is located on the scenic north shore of Big Bear Lake.  The Grays Peak trailhead is across the highway from the picnic area.  The picnic area is closed during eagle season; December 1st thru March 31st.  This site is accessible.

Update: Grout Bay Picnic area will remain closed until further notice due to bald eagle habitat. The latest opening may be mid-June 2016. Exact opening dates will be posted on this page as soon as information is available.
