Fuller Ridge Trail

Expect 4wd / high clearance conditions on Black Mountain Road.

This hike is actually part of the Pacific Crest Trail. Starting at 7600 ft., it follows the high, timbered ridge above Snow Creek offering spectacular views of the desert. The trail joins Deer Springs Trail, at an elevation of 9200 ft., where a strenuous portion proceeds 2.5 miles to San Jacinto Peak (10,804 ft.). Wilderness permits are required in Mt. San Jacinto State Park wilderness. This trail goes up and down in elevation to the Deer Springs Trail junction.

Current Conditions:	Black Mountain road 4S01 is damaged from storms.  Four-wheel drive, with high clearance is highly recommended.

Restrictions:	Group size is limited to 12 people. No campfires allowed.  Portable gas stoves are allowed. Camp on a durable surface at least 200 feet away from other people, trails, meadows, and water sources. Dogs are prohibited in the State Park Wilderness. Pack out what you pack in and Leave No Trace!
