Westward Overlook - Lemhi Pass CDT Access

Lemhi Pass, a National Historic Landmark, is in Beaverhead and Salmon National Forests, and marks the boundary between Idaho and Montana. The Forest Service has signs at Lemhi Pass during the summer months, to help tell the story of the pass. The scenic views and historic information are awe-inspiring to even the casual visitor. There are picnic tables, hiking trails, and vault toilets that visitors use to enjoy the windswept vistas.
