The Bitter Creek trail is 4.2 miles long. It begins at Rodeo Flat, heads south east and ends at S.f. Kern River. The trail is open for the following uses: horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking.

Day Hiking

This trail is great for day long hikes on the Kern Plateau. Heading south east from where it begins at Rodeo Flat this trail follows along the southern border of the South Sierra Wilderness. The last few miles of trail parallel Bitter Creek before draining into the South Fork of the Kern River.
