The Bright Star Trail begins at Alaska Flat, Moreland Mine and ends at the Liebel Ranch (private property). The trail is open for the following uses: Motorcycle trail riding, hiking, and mountain biking.

Day Hiking

The Bright Star Trail heads north east from the Alaska Flat area in the Piute Mountains. The first mile follows along the western border of the Inspiration Point Botanical Area. The elevation of the trail maintains at about 6000 ft.
