Wood River Campground hosts five sites located along the beautiful Wood River. This shaded, peaceful campground provides relaxation during hot summer days. The ghost town of Kirwin is located 18 miles west (rough road - 4-wheel drive recommended).

General Information

Directions: From Cody, travel south on State Highway 120 for 32 miles to Meeteetse. Take State Highway 290 west of Meeteetse for 7 miles to the Wood River Road (County Road 4DT). Follow the Wood River Road for 12.5 miles to Forest Road 200, which begins at the national forest boundary. The campground is located 1 mile west of the boundary.
