Kelty Meadow Campground

Area Status: Closed

Located in a mountainous area near Bass Lake at a 3,400 foot elevation, Kelty Meadow Campground is a horse-friendly camp shaded by pine and cedar trees alongside Kelty Creek. Campsites wide and open enough to accommodate small horse trailers, slide-ins, tent trailers or tents. Campsites are located near Kelty Meadow and some sites have hitching posts, but no corrals. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, campfire ring and grill. Vault toilets are available. Drinking water is not provided, but a stock water supply is available from the creek. Road access is paved and dirt.

Directions:

Take Hwy 41 north from Fresno; continue through Oakhurst to Sky Ranch Road (Forest Road 6S10), which is also Forest Road 10. Travel 11.1 miles; turn left on FR 6S20.
